The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola will be presented in a 13 week series. This hour will include: an opening prayer, short commentary, a ½ hour teaching (DVD) on the Ignatian Exercises by Fr. Gawronski. The Spiritual Exercises are a carefully planned “method of examination of conscience, of meditations of vocal and mental prayer, and other spiritual activities.”
[Fr. Raymond Gawronski entered the Society of Jesus in 1977. He has taught theology at Marquette University for 13 years, and has published and lectured widely on issues of culture and spirituality. He was for only a short time a Professor of Dogmatic Theology at St. Patrick‟s Seminary in Menlo, CA before his death in 2016; and widely praised for his role informing priests and providing insights into Ignatian spirituality.]
