Protecting Our Children

Here at Our Lady Star of the Sea, we pledge to provide a safe environment for our children and all who are vulnerable. All priests, deacons, sisters, staff members and all voulunteers who have any contact whatsoever with children and other vulnerable persons are required to complete the Safe Environment Program at https://charlestondiocese.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Safe-Environment-Training-Flyer.pdf

These same people receive background screenings in addition to education on how to make the safest environment possible.
