Confirmation

Preparation for this sacrament is a two-year process. The Pre-Confirmation year begins at the start of the seventh grade school year. Weekly attendance at CCD classes and Mass is mandatory, and a community service project is also required. The Sacrament of Confirmation, with the Bishop of Charleston presiding, takes place annually, usually in the fall.
